Roles & Permissions

Default Roles

MangaReader Pro comes with these built-in roles:

• Super Admin — Full system access, cannot be restricted
• Admin — Can manage content, users, and settings
• Moderator — Can manage comments, reports, and basic content
• Uploader — Can upload and manage manga chapters
• User — Standard reader with bookmarks and reading history
• Guest — Unauthenticated visitor (configurable access)

Custom Roles

Create custom roles in Admin → Users → Roles. Assign granular permissions:

• manga.create, manga.edit, manga.delete
• chapter.upload, chapter.edit, chapter.delete
• comment.moderate, comment.delete
• user.manage, user.ban
• settings.manage

Permission Groups

Permissions are organized into groups for easy management:

• Content — Manga, chapters, pages
• Community — Comments, forums, reports
• Users — Registration, profiles, bans
• System — Settings, backups, logs
